The new security and lease policy with Mineola ISD will require any and all players that use MISD property to fill and return the MISD issued Liability Waiver before participation.
Your coach will have this page for you to complete and MUST be returned.
Each team shall have a minimum of 2 coaches.
Teams may find a "manager" and as such complete their SafeSport and Background Check the same as the coaches and adult referees and players.
Coaches U10 and older shall complete their game sheet and record it in GotSport within 3 days of their competition.
Coaches that do not comply will have ALL games FORFEITED and recorded as 20-0 Loss.
Coaches that do not comply will also be call upon for disciplinary meeting.
Coaches are responsible for parents' behavior during MSA related activities. Please remind parents and guests of their Code of Conduct agreement.
Uniforms will be the responsibility of the teams from Fall 2024 an further.
Uniforms must meet MSA and MISD regulations (No alcohol, tobacco, etc.)
Teams may elect to find a sponsor. Sponsor's name must be placed onto the jersey.
U10 and younger are PROHIBITED from placing player's names on their jersey.
In the event of 2 teams having the same colors during a game, the HOME team will be required to wear "pinnies" of a different color
Teams are to turn in their completed rosters with player numbers the week before the first game or risk forfeiting every game until completed.
There is to be no "slide tackles" for the U10 and younger divisions
The U14 and above divisions will be playing away from Mineola for the majority of the Fall 2024 season due to the lack of availability of the proper size field in Mineola for the fall season.
U14 MAY play in the Tyler League or Tri-County League, which may include leagues such as Van, Lindale, Canton, Maybank, Kaufman, and Athens.
Please select which option you would PREFER.
If selected to "return to team", your team may elect to NOT play in the league you prefer and as such your player may be returned to draft and selected to a team that has elected the same PREFERENCE as yours.
The U16 and U19 have already played away the majority of Fall seasons for many years.
· Requirement – you must be 13 or older.
· There is a two-part process that must be completed to become a licensed USSF Referee.
· Sign up for a Referee online course. You will pay the fee when you sign up. $80.00
Part 1 - Sign up for the Referee Online Lessons via OMS
There are 6 modules in the online portion. All 6 modules must be completed in full. The online lessons take approximately 6-7 hours to complete.
Part 2 – Select an in-person clinic to attend.
Once you complete the entire online lessons, you’ll be able to select an in-person clinic to go to on OMS. You will see the words – ONLINE LESSONS COMPLETED highlighted in green to know that you can select the in-person clinic you wish to attend.
The in-person clinic is 3.5 hours. This is the field session done outdoors.
Lots of important information is given to all attendees – who you will work for, how to get games, where to get uniforms, etc.
You must complete both parts to become a referee.

Once you complete the online lessons you will see the words – PICK A CLINIC This is the in-person portion of the clinic.
We are also beginning a new program for our “Junior Refs” that 12 year old's can use to gain experience by “Line Judging” our U6 and U8 games with our certified center refs. They will be wearing special shirts and will be monitored by their “Referee Mentor”, Referee Assignor, as well as countless adult volunteers. Please reach out to a board member if your future referee would like to participate.

Fall and Spring.
